Camp Kesem
Camp Kesem at the University of Iowa is a student run organization that
supports children through and beyond their parent, guardian, or caregiver’s
cancer! This summer we will be offering our second annual week long
overnight summer camp to these children. Our camp is not a therapy camp, it
is a time for these children to focus on being kids! It is completely FREE
for these children and we currently have spots open that we would love to
fill.
-Camp is completely free of charge
-Camp Dates: June 3rd through June 9th
-Location: Camp Little Cloud in EPWORTH, IA -Two nurses and a mental health
professional accompany college leaders at camp

Cat and Dog Licenses
Rabies shots must be current. Charges for the license are as follows:
Altered Animal – $10.00
Unaltered Animal – $20.00
Licenses not purchased by April 1, 2018 will be subject to an extra $10.00 fee.
If your animal is captured at large, there is a $25.00 charge for recovery. If the animal is not licensed, $50.00 plus license fee will be charged.

Notice to the Public
The City of Monroe will no longer be alerting residents by hanging a notice on their door of water shut-offs for delinquent accounts. If accounts aren’t paid by the due date and arrangements haven’t been made at city hall prior to, water will be shut off and a $25.00 reconnect fee charged. Water service will be reconnected between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday ONLY.
