The remaining dates for mosquito spraying in Monroe are:

Tennis Clinic Postponed
The elementary age tennis clinic scheduled for June 26th has been postponed until further notice. Please contact Ron Martin @ 641-203-6501 for rescheduling information.

Reminder: Monroe Cemetery Flower Removal
The public is reminded that all flowers and other items on the ground must be removed from the cemetery by July 15, 2017. Flowers in vases or on the stones are always welcome and are not removed by the City. No permanent plantings are permitted. If you plant annual flowers, they may be mowed off or you can keep the grass trimmed at least 6” away from the stone. Please do not leave glass vases or jars at the grave sites. Questions should be referred to City Hall at 259-2319. Thank you for your cooperation.

Spring Clean up day in Monroe for 2017 is set for Wednesday, May 10th. Items should be on the curb by 6:00am. Items two people can lift may be set out. Clean out the house, basement, and garage!
